I am a dedicated instructor and researcher at Dambi Dollo University with M.Sc. in Health Biotechnology from Addis Ababa University. I have been conducting different researches on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) in E. coli (Published here). I have extensive experience in molecular biotechnology techniques including DNA extraction, PCR, Pathogen genomics, and Science communication and leadership. I led as an ambassador for Elsevier Africa and a community science organizer through Stanford’s BIO4E. I want to pursue a Ph.D. to further my research in the One Health issues including AMR, Biomanufacturing, , alternate anti microbial (bacteriophage and probiotics), and Bioinformatics. I was in the Next Generation Leaders program at Asilomar in 2025, and selected as African STARS Fellow at CERI, Stellenbosch University. Furthermore, I have extensive experience in providing tutor, both online and in-person, for students (Grade 8 - University Level).
